This class introduces students to the climate, history, and culture of Ancient Egypt. How were the pyramids built and who built them? What influence did the Nile have on the life of the Egyptian people? How were the mummies made?

Come explore the history of this mysterious land from the first ancient pharaohs to the famous queen Cleopatra.  We will examine the social structure, religious principles, and important archaeological sites of Egypt to gain insight into a fascinating, and surprisingly advanced culture.
